Why am I feeling this way ?????????
Well, im a 13 year old girl and lately ive been feeling a bit depressed, like for example I went up to my bedroom tonight and sat at my window and cried for about 15 minutes, I don't know why im feeling this way, I think its because of the Eastenders storyline you know the one about Lucas being a murderer and stuff its just stuff like that really gets to me, why am I feeling like this ??
Yes, hormones and adolescence have a lot to answer for. Also at 13, you can feel confused, neither child nor adult, so where do you belong?
The most valuable comfort is from your peers, fellow-13 year old, who will know how you are feeling. There really is nothing like laughter with friends, acting stupid and carefree; this is what you should be doing, and even though you might like eastenders it might be wise to not watch it for a while. (sometimes I have to stop watching the news for a while because it is so depressing!), If you want to talk about the storylines with your friends catch up in the soap story-lines on line, this wont be as depressing as watching it.
Don't get too worn down, as I said this is a confusing age, but you need to have fun, and laugh your way through this stage. Do fun things, don't hide in your bedroom, or do too many solitary activities such as sitting in your room alone. If you have spare time volunteer your services at some charity (contact your local volunteers bureau), you need to break out of this mood and not feed it.
At 13 you have your whole life ahead of you, and it is a tough time when your hormones are starting to kick in, but still, through life we have many down times, and it is how we cope with them, and how we learn to ward off depression that will see us moving forward to better things. Good luck :)
what does dreaming about a person who died in real life mean?
Last night i dreamed about a person i know who died last year,in the dream he was looking at me and we were smiling to each Other and holding hands,we were even walking down a dark road. Does anyone know what it means i'm kinda worried.
I got a bit worried because someone told me that dreaming about the dead is not a good thing.
Don't worry, take it as a comforting message from the person. It is said that spirit often visits us in our sleep so we will not be frightened. Its just their way of saying hello and spending some time with us. It is in effect a very lovely dream.
I dreamed about this person, what does this mean?
Well in the 1st part of the dream I was in some department store looking at all of these lovely designer things that I could not afford. Then I saw this hot male model walk in. I wanted to ask him on a date but felt that he was out of my league. SO I decided to test him and I walked by him in this sexy leather outfit and tall leather boots to see if I would catch his attention(I suddenly ended up in these clothes, before they were just normal clothes). I didn't look him in the eye but I sensed that I caught his attention because he stopped talking to the women around him and muttered "Damn" under his breath. Then I casually went over to this Egyptian dining set and I knew he would come over. Then I heard him say "so you like the eye of horus huh?" and I turned and introduced myself. Then suddenly he did a silly dance like a nerd and laughed. That turned me off. Then his agent came over and he talked about getting me an acting position(something I'm working on in reality).
This is all about your desires,,,,
Is he out of my league? and then you prove that you can look stunning enough to get his attention by 'acting' the part of a leather clad diva. So your dream is saying, I can act my way to the top and get what I want.
The Egyptian theme with the dining set and the eye of Horus represents your wish to become a Goddess who everyone will admire and look up to; to be someone worth taking notice of; famous!
His silly dance is your dream telling you that though he seemed cool, and desirable, underneath that exterior he was a nerd, and your subconscious is telling you to look beyond and not take first impressions as fact, look beyond, don't trust too easily.
The situation with the Agent in your dream is telling you that if you try/work hard enough, (like you tried hard with the leather outfit and boots etc) you will succeed, but even then you should watch your back. Do not trust too easily; the eye of Horus is also a symbol of protection and can be used to keep away the evil eye - are there jealous people around you?
My boyfriend procrastinates too much and doesn't get things done. What can I do to help him?
So my boyfriend is a PhD student in bio engineering right now, and I live with him on campus. Unfortunately he's not doing so well in school and it's because he procrastinates way too much. I know we all procrastinate- I'm a procrastinator too- but the difference is I'll wait until the last minute and then get whatever it is DONE. He had a paper he was supposed to turn in last Thursday...he stayed up all night Wednesday working on it, or so I thought, but I found out the following day he'd been reading wikipedia instead. He stayed up all night Thursday as well, and I thought maybe now that it's overdue he's working on it, but no...he watched anime all night. It's now Monday and he's still not done. And worse, he's so embarrassed about it, that when people from his lab call him he won't answer. Same with his family. I got pretty upset about that because now his friends and family probably all think something terrible has happened to him. And this isn't the first time he's done this (which is why I say he's already not doing so well). The only reason he got through undergrad so well is because he took classes that didn't require writing papers, I guess.
I've tried suggesting he unplug the internet, but he says he needs it to do his paper. I've tried talking to him about it, I've tried getting angry with him, I've tried showing how upset/sad I was about it, and nothing. Pretty much all I've done that seems to work is stand over him and watch him work, but I'm working two jobs and can't stand there watching him type all day (never mind how incredibly boring that would be.) The only other thing I can think of is to call his family and tell them what's going on, since they all think he's working his butt off and maybe the thought of his family finding out will motivate him some, but I feel like that would be a bit out of line. He WANTS to make himself work on it but he can't seem to do it. And I just can't understand how he can take procrastination to such extremes, so I don't really know what he needs to do to get past it.
What do you think? Does anyone have any tips? Could this maybe be an actual psychological problem? Should I make him see a therapist or something? Thanks for any suggestions.
So, does he put off what he should be doing because of fear of failure? Is he getting waylaid by the internet because its so much easier to surf the net and look at other's work than to do the hard graft of writing your own?
He needs to realise why he is dong this avoidance behaviour. Or at least open up about it. I used to find I could mess about all evening and then would finally buckle down around 4 in the morning and I could do any writing of essays then,
My suggestions are that he:
a) Buys a CD, perhaps by a hypnotist such as Glen Harold or similiar. The CD should be a guided meditation to still the mind and relax the mind and body. He has one called peace and calm or something.
b) In the room where he will study he should burn lavender and patchouli in an oil burner (mixed with water), these two aromatherapy oils will relax him and ground him.
He should keep up the routine of doing the CD before sitting down to study and then burning the oils. Eventually his brain will recognise the signs that it is time to study.
c) Keep a quartz crystal and an amethyst in the room to help with memory and sooth stress.
Black magic spell to see your soul mate in your dreams. Dream is weird?
I was doing the black magic spell to see a person you think is "the one" in your dreams, and the dream would tell you if it is so, or not. I did what the spell said to do- put 3 almonds and 3 raisins under your pillow before bed, and drink a glass of milk with a tsp of honey. It also said to think of the person before you fell asleep and that's what i did. Then i had this dream, that there was going to be a hurricane. So my family and everyone started packing, but it wasn't my house, it was my friends, and we had to leave before 2:00 pm, and i took out my phone, looked at it, and it was 1:54pm. Then, i ended up walking in these really long, all white, hallways, and i somehow thought it was my old middle school. Then it switched to this place, it was like an old diner motel thing, like with a teal pontiac outside, and it was really retro. I saw the owner and he welcomed me, but he was VERY odd. The person i think is "the one" didn't end up in my dream, although he was supposed to, so i could see whether or not he is the one. Is my dream telling me something?
The dream is very fearful and my guess is that you were a little nervous at doing 'black magick'. Although it is often called Black Magick, you were doing a spell. A spell in modern terms is all about concentrating your thoughts and energy amd using different items (tools) to enhance the energies you are trying to conjer up or change with your spell. Note the spell you did involved a lot of sweetness, the raisins and the honey would represent bringing your SWEET heart, and the nut would probably represent the heart (as a nut is at the heart of a shell when you crack it open. Now the BIGGEST part of a spell is your intent and your thinking! It is your intention and your thinking and whether you do things with a good heart etc (not harming others) that depicts whether it is a good or bad spell, Black or White magick (that is why I say yours was not strictly Black Magick).
SO carry out this magick again, and this time do not let fearfulness into your heart, because fear, anger etc is a negative emotion and when you do any kind of magick work your should NEVER allow negative energies to come in. ALWAYS cleanse the energies and ensure the energies around you are POSITIVE or things do go wrong. You can cleanse the energies around you with smoke, incense, crystal etc. Try this similar magick - Drop candle wax into a bowls of water and whatever shape (often of a letter or symbol) the candle wax forms in the water is the clue to your love. Take care, and Good Luck.
Kissing a guy in a dream. How to interpret this?
I have been in love with a guy for so long . Platonic love though. He is dating someone else. I still have a huge crush on him. İn my dream I share a very romantic moment with him and he kisses me. and I kiss him back. and I feel extraordinarily happy. how to interpret this?
When you let someone close to you, you let them into your 'space', so you are saying you would like him to come closer and into your space. When he kisses you back he AT LAST recognizes that you would like it to be more than platonic, something he is not recognizing in real life so far as he is dating someone else.
And so, you are dreaming about your desire to have him closer in your life, and what you would like to happen. Don't give up though, he is only dating someone else and things might still end up where your dreams come true. Good luck :))
Dreamt of driving without headlights on...?
In my dream it was dark and every time I checked, I didn't have my headlights on. It happened over and over again. Can anyone tell me what they think this means?
I was not speeding
I was not out of control
I was confused as to why the lights were not on and I kept either trying to put them on, or fumbling to put them on..again and again.
Lights help us see where we are going. Driving represents our personal journey through life.
Therefore this dream is about you being fearful about going forward in life as you are fearful of making the wrong decision as you feel unable to see, or work out where this decision might take you. Note that you kept trying to put the lights on over and over again (you are running things over and over in your mind over and over again, but still feel in the dark about what to do).
Fear of the future and what it holds is not unusual, and maybe you have decisions to make at the moment that you are finding difficulty to make. This dream is telling you that sometimes in life we have to take a risk and go forward even through we feel in the dark about what the future holds.
Weigh up the pros and cons when making your decisions, and go for the one with the most pros.
***** The questioner comments……
That makes so much sense. Thank you so much! I have been going over something again and again in my mind.
